Joy has taught flute lessons for many years, for beginner through intermediate students. She only teaches lessons once in a while now, due to her full schedule. In addition to more traditional music instruction, Joy's lessons often include improvisation within many musical genres. Students, and former students, are invited to perform periodically in casual concerts and sing-a-longs, often at local senior residences.
